PUH Maternity Department Virtual Tour

The aim of the Virtual Tour is to allow expectant mums and partners to view the interior of the Maternity Unit and hear staff talk about Maternity Services available at PUH.

When?             Friday 26th April 11am to 1pm

Where?           Portiuncula Education Centre, Poolboy, Ballinasloe H53 RP82

Who?               If you have recently had experience of the maternity services in Portiuncula, we want to hear from you!

 

Please come join members of the maternity team, including Midwives and Doctors, for an interactive morning, to help us listen, understand and improve the maternity experience at Portiuncula University Hospital.

Parents and babies are welcome- bumps & buggies!

Light refreshments will be provided

Antenatal Breastfeeding Workshop (Face to Face)

You will learn the benefits of breastfeeding, the importance of skin to skin contact, establishing a good milk supply by stimulation early and often, the importance of correct position and attachment, ways of protecting the milk supply if baby is unable to latch and that every breastfeeding challenge has a solution!
